Pricing for the scenic flights are listed below. All prices are the total cost for the aircraft and pilot and up to 3 passengers.

Trial Introductory Flight (TIF)

  • An initial on the ground briefing introduces the basics of flying
  • From start-up on the tarmac, you take control of a Tecnam Sierra (shown below), Cessna 152 or Tecnam Eaglet aircraft with a qualified instructor at your side
  • Pull back on the control column and lift off the runway
  • Learn how it feels to turn and bank the aircraft

VH-IDB Trial Flight The Trial Introductory Flight is aimed at showing you just how easy and enjoyable flying an aircraft can be.

Before you depart on the flight, your instructor will conduct a brief on the aircraft. Your instructor will also answer any queries you may have and show you the basic controls of the aircraft, how they work and how you, as Pilot, use them to safely and accurately control the aircraft in flight.

Many people are amazed during this flight. Even though it is their first time in the Pilots seat of an aircraft, they already conduct 80% of the flying themselves.

As the Trial Introductory Flight is conducted by a certified instructor, if you do decide to continue with flying training the flight time accrued in the Trial Introductory Flight counts towards your total aeronautical experience and as such can be recorded in your pilot Log book.

We guarantee that this flight will always remain in your memory with all the other thrills and successes that await you during your training and future flights.

Trial Introductory Flights (TIF’s) are available for $88 (30 mins) or $121 (45 mins).
